Vélovsko house number 242 was probably built at the beginning of the 19th century in 1808. Originally, it was covered with shingles and later with grey and green slate roof tiles. The building is exceptional for the features of its main gable and the artistic conception of the window belt with flat balusters. This arrangement is rare in Železný Brod; it was preserved only in two cases.
The fountain it was built in 1828 by an unknown author. The sandstone object illustrates the solution of the supply of both drinking and service water in a small town. It is an important technical monument.
Grosovsko house number 262 is called “the Townhall of Trávníky”. It is an interesting cultural sight notable especially for its oblique layout of roof slate plates and also for lavishly decorated pilasters with motifs of wreaths and bells; pilasters by the windows have cord motifs. The house was built by the same author as Knopovsko (number 45). The value of the house lies especially in its authentic and well-preserved façade, undamaged
by small repairs and adaptations.
