Description
The Trávníky Educational Path will take you to the historical area of timbered and brick houses in the urban conservation area of Trávníky. You will see numerous monuments of folk architecture, brick Classicist houses, and sandstone fountains.
The path leads among old wooden houses, which lack thatched roofs but still do have typical small windows and little gardens in front of them. This part of the town is called Trávníky; it still retains the ancient character typical for areas set below the Giant Mountains. The alleys, which cross and branch, will lead you to interesting corners. The wooden houses, which look meagre at first sight, each have its own original character and distinctive beauty.
